• a thermal store for domestic hot water
• a buffer tank for the underfloor heating

Individual Thermostatic Control

For the past ten years, the UK market has seen huge growth in the underfloor heating market.  Individual thermostatic room control is now a standard requirement.  Any well-designed underfloor heating system should have this feature.  The Hygienik Tank allows this level of control, but many other heat pump systems cannot.

Hot Water Efficiency

Even though building standards are if anything reducing the requirement for extra heat, demand for hot water is increasing.  We still waste too much water and many domestic water systems are not designed with conservation in mind.  There's no point in heating and wasting water you don't need.  Please read our suggestions on hot water efficiency for our advice in this area.  We also have a range of fixtures and fittings, some of which are profiled here.
